Samantha Greenberg is a Partner at Paulson & Co. Inc., focused on risk arbitrage, event-driven equities and credit/distressed investments. Since joining Paulson in 2009, she has led numerous investments particularly in the Media, Cable/Satellite and Consumer sectors.
Ms. Greenberg has been an investment analyst following the Media and Cable/Satellite sectors since 2003. Prior to joining Paulson, Ms. Greenberg was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs’ Special Situations Group. Ms. Greenberg also worked as a long/short equity analyst at Chilton Investment Company from 2003 to 2007. Ms. Greenberg began her career as an investment banker in the Mergers & Acquisitions group at Goldman Sachs.
Ms. Greenberg graduated summa cum laude from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Economics, and received her MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business. Ms. Greenberg has been named to the Hedge Fund Journal / Ernst & Young’s “50 Leading Women in Hedge Funds”, and has served in various leadership roles at non-profit institutions including the Board of Directors of the 14th Street Y, the Leadership Council of High Water Women, and currently on the UJA- Federation of New York's Investment Management Division Executive Council.
